Thermal Power Plant “Gera Amazonas” (Generate Amazonas)

This plant provides power directly to the Amazonas Energia S/A, power distribution company responsible for supplying electric power to the city of Manaus.

For this project, SERVTEC relied on the FIP Brasil Energia’s (BTG Pactual) partnership for an investment of R$ 235 million.

Thermal Power Plant Gera Maranhão (Generate Maranhão)

The thermoelectric power plant Gera Maranhão won PPAs in LEN 02/2007. It has two twin plants (Geramar I and Geramar II) that use fuel oil for, together, producing enough energy to supply electricity for the entire island of São Luis, the state’s capital.

For this project, with an investment of R$ 560 million, SERVTEC relied on partnerships such as Equatorial Energia, FIP Brasil Energia (BTG Pactual) and Progresso.

Wind Farm “Bons Ventos Taíba” (Good Winds Taíba)

The wind potential of Ceará was the inspiration behind SERVTEC’s first energy generation venture through this renewable source.

Parque Eólico Bons Ventos Taíba (Good Winds Taíba Wind Farm) was implemented in the municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante, with 8 wind turbines and a capacity of 17MW.

Wind Farm “Bons Ventos da Serra 1” (Good Ridge Winds 1)

In order to expand its activities in the wind sector, SERVTEC developed the Parque Eólico Bons Ventos da Serra 1 (Good Ridge Winds 1 Wind Farm) with installed capacity of 1GW, in Serra da Ibiapaba, on the boundary line between the states of Ceará and Piauí.

Step 1 (BVS 1) had its energy sold on LER/2011. With an installed capacity of 23.1MW it’ll add the equivalent of 120GWh annually to the SIN. For this phase, SERVTEC relied on Rio Bravo Investimento’s partnership.
